TUESDAYS: Jezibell teaches belly dance at the Augusta Jewish Community Center, 898 Weinberger Way (off Fury's Ferry Road), 6-7 pm. Drop-ins welcome - $10 per class. For more information, please contact AJJC - call (706) 228-3636 or email augustajcc. This is a mixed level class for adults and teens, and all genders are welcome. Next class is November 18. We're off for Thanksgiving week, and there will be a free class on December 2. Regular classes resume December 16.

Saturday, November 29 - Jezibell presents a special workshop on the cifte telli. The cifte-telli is a popular Turkish rhythm, and the workshop will cover sensual, fluid movements including floorwork and balancing as well as the lively cifte-telli with zils. This workshop is geared for dancers with some experience and will be held from 4-6 pm at Joanie Lamb Hair Salon, 720 Broad Street, between 7th and 8th Streets, $20. Bring zils, a tray or basket to balance, and, if you like, kneepads and legwarmers for the floorwork. (No swords or canes since we'll be working with formations.) So come and work off your Thanksgiving dinner!

Tuesday, December 2 - FREE beginner bellydance class at AJCC 6-7 pm.

Sunday, December 14, at 12:30 pm, Jezibell presents "Ceremonial Magick." This will include a discussion of sex magick and is geared for adults.
